About the event
An Elemental Rhythm Breathwork experience consists of shaking, 5 rounds of active breathing, a guided meditation, and time for integration and reflection. The purpose of shaking is to begin stirring up stagnant energy and emotions that are stored in the body. Each round of active breathing consists of breathing through the four elements - earth, water, air, fire - followed by a breath hold. After five rounds of active breathing, I will guide you through a self-connecting meditation and hold space for deep reflection and integration of the breathwork journey.
Meet the facilitator:
Hello! I’m Brittney, and I am an independently licensed social worker with 6 years experience providing trauma-informed care in various settings. I am certified in EMDR and utilize an individualistic, holistic, and bottom-up approach to treat the whole person in order to increase overall wellness.
I am also a certified Elemental Rhythm Breathwork coach where I utilize my therapeutic skills to guide participants towards deep, personal healing. Breathwork is a tool that utilizes controlled, patterned breathing techniques to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Breathwork can help foster a deeper connection with oneself, reduce stress and anxiety, release and process emotions, heal trauma, expand awareness, increase positivity and gratitude, and so much more!
It is my soul’s purpose to guide others towards a life of freedom from fears and beliefs that leave so many of us bound and chained to a life that isn’t fulfilling and authentic - to help others surrender and find peace on the other side of the unknown. I’m excited to hold space with and for you!
